Middle School students are invited to workshop their audition selections prior to auditions for Springfield Little Theatre’s youth performance troupes! In addition to helping them feel more confident, audition workshops are beneficial in assisting students in working through their nerves, connecting more fully to their material, and preparing smart cuts.

Auditions for Middle School Thespians 2025 will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at The Judy!

An Audition Preparatory Workshop for Springfield Little Theatre's Education Series production of GOOSEBUMPS* will be offered Sunday, August 24th, 2025, from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM PM at The Judy.

Everyone can benefit from a show’s audition workshop! Learn how to make your very best impression!

Participants will be taught a short movement combination, a portion of a song from the show, and a short line reading, all of which will be used in placement auditions. 

Placement Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 - 7pm - 9pm

Participants are asked to prepare a one-minute vocal selection and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. If you need help finding a selection that works for you, no worries, we can help you accomplish that at the workshop! A movement combination will also be taught, and participants will have the opportunity to explore cold readings, as well.
