Summer Stages I Workshop for Ages 4-18: Encanto (6561)

Great for new, entry-level, AND returning students.
No experience is necessary. All are welcome!
Welcome to the Family, Madrigal!
Step into a magical world of theatre this summer with SLT’s Summer Stages Workshop, inspired by the colorful and enchanting spirit of Encanto! Young performers will discover their unique gifts through acting games, improvisation, scene work, and musical theatre song & dance—all while building confidence and having fun!
Students who love visual art will also enjoy crafting themed projects. On the last day, families and friends are invited to a free informal showcase, where our talented stars will bring their magic to life on stage!
Join us for a week of singing, dancing, storytelling, and creativity—because at Summer Stages, everyone has a special role to play!

A Theatrical Adventure Worthy of Hogwarts!
Accio, actors! Step into a magical world of theatre this summer with SLT’s Summer Stages Workshop, inspired by the wonder and whimsy of Harry Potter! Young performers will unlock their dramatic potential through acting games, improvisation, scene work, and musical theatre song & dance—all while building confidence and having a spellbinding good time!
Students who love visual art will also have fun crafting wizarding world-themed projects. On the last day, families and friends are invited to a free informal showcase, where our young wizards and witches will take the stage and bring their magic to life!

Summer Series Production, Ages 4-18: Finding Nemo, KIDS (6560)

Be a part of a fun musical theatre production from start to finish in The Reynolds Auditorium at The Judith Enyeart Reynolds School of the Performing Arts for Springfield Little Theatre!
Disney • Pixar's FINDING NEMO, KIDS is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo KIDS brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Technical Theatre Camp offers an incredible opportunity for students 12 and up to gain training, insight, respect for, and hands-on experience in technical theatre from Springfield Little Theatre’s own Scenic, Lighting, Sound, and Costume Designers, and the Summer Youth Programs support staff. Students enrolled in Technical Theatre Camp will not only gain a valuable skill set, but they will also help to create the sets, costumes, and props, as well as serve as the technical crew for the Summer Series Production of Disney • Pixar's FINDING NEMO, KIDS.
