Springfield Little Theatre's Troupers in Training Musical Theatre Troupe (Kindergarten and 1st Grade) These troupers are learning the foundational principles of the performing arts and honing their skillset. The Troupers in Training will perform at community events throughout the season.

Participants will:

• Meet one-on-one with our staff for personalized consultations
• Tour The Judy and explore our state-of-the-art facilities
• Preview our curriculum and daily schedule
• Take part in conservatory-style arts classes in acting, voice, and dance
• Meet current and former students and hear about their experiences
• Connect with our talented faculty and see what makes SLT Academy unique

The experience culminates in a Parent & Student Informational Session and Q&A at 3:30 PM on the second day, where families can ask questions and gain deeper insight into our program.

In addition to helping them feel more confident with their movement, audition workshops are beneficial in assisting students in working through their nerves, connecting more fully to their material, and preparing smart cuts.

Auditions for YES Troupe 2026-2027 will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at The Judy.

Interested company members are invited to learn the audition dance combination prior to auditions for Springfield Little Theatre’s Illumination Dance Company! In addition to helping them feel more confident with their movement, audition workshops are beneficial in assisting students in working through their nerves, and connecting more fully to their material.

Auditions for IDCO 2025 will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM at The Judy.
