Technical Theatre Camp offers an incredible opportunity for students 12 and up to gain training, insight, respect for, and hands-on experience in technical theatre from Springfield Little Theatre’s own Scenic, Lighting, Sound, and Costume Designers, and the Summer Youth Programs support staff. Students enrolled in Technical Theatre Camp will not only gain a valuable skill set, but they will also help to create the sets, costumes, and props, as well as serve as the technical crew, for a Springfield Little Theatre Summer Institute production.

Technical Theatre Camp students will split their time between The Landers Theatre, home to Springfield Little Theatre, and The Creamery Arts Center, home to Springfield Little Theatre's Scenic and Costume Design Shops. Students will be dropped off and picked up at The Landers Theatre each day.

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. Cady and her friends devise a “Revenge Party” to end Regina’s reign with Cady going undercover as an aspiring Plastic. When the lines between the real Cady and her Plastic self get blurred, she must find her way back to herself and her true friends.
