Thinking about joining SLT Academy? Get a firsthand look at what it’s like to be a middle or high school student in our pre-professional training program during this two-day immersive experience!

Participants will:

• Meet one-on-one with our staff for personalized consultations
• Tour The Judy and explore our state-of-the-art facilities
• Preview our curriculum and daily schedule
• Take part in conservatory-style arts classes in acting, voice, and dance
• Meet current and former students and hear about their experiences
• Connect with our talented faculty and see what makes SLT Academy unique

The experience culminates in a Parent & Student Informational Session and Q&A at 3:30 PM on the second day, where families can ask questions and gain deeper insight into our program.

Middle School students are invited to learn the audition dance combination and workshop their vocal selection prior to auditions for Springfield Little Theatre’s youth performance troupes! In addition to helping them feel more confident with their movement, audition workshops are beneficial in assisting students in working through their nerves, connecting more fully to their material, and preparing smart cuts.

Auditions for Middle School Musical Theatre Troupe 2026-2027 will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 or Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at The Judy.
