Join us during the 2026-2027 school year for School’s Out, Play-in-a-Day workshops.  These workshops provide a unique opportunity for children to undergo training in the performing arts and are a lifesaver for parents when the kids are out of school!

Calling all Princes, Princesses, Dragons and Knights - Medieval Magic awaits inside The Judy front doors! Participants of this will experience a festival of fun in this renaissance themed workshop. Join the cast of Once Upon a Mattress as they share in the delights of story telling and Princess Creating! Parents of participants are invited to see SLT’s MainStage Production of Once Upon a Mattress at The Landers for a discounted rate!

Children ages 8 to 12 are invited to participate in a full day of creative play, including theatre games, improvisation, dance, and an art project. They will also tackle a script that they will perform at the end of the day! Bring a sack lunch, a water bottle, and an awesome attitude!

Join us for a one day workshop of growing as a performer while learning from SLT’s most incredible young performers fresh off their presentations in our Youth Talent Showcase - Youthfest. Participants will be led through the process of creating the perfect piece by a selection of our Youth Entertainment Troupe Participants!

We think you’re Needoh! Learn about the world of sensory play and devising original theatre through creating props! In partnership with Devising Original Theatre Springfield, participants of this workshop will build their own sensory props to create a cohesive story together. Come build your own Needoh and create a story to go with it!

Every young actor knows the fear of having something go wrong onstage…at this workshop, we ENCOURGE the “worst” to happen! Join the cast of Springfield Little Theatre’s MainStage Production of Peter Pan Goes Wrong as they teach young artists how to perform small stage combat combinations, land the punchline, and make messing up look so good! Participants will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to the upcoming production of Peter Pan Goes Wrong at The Landers!
