A fun and educational class for those adults just getting started in exploring their voice in musical theatre! Join us for this collaborative class to learn musical theatre voice techniques and gain confidence in your stage presentation!

An Audition Preparatory Workshop for Springfield Little Theatre's Youth Entertainment Series production of THE NIGHTMARE STORY will be offered Sunday, February 15, 2026 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at The Judy.

Whether it’s your first audition or your 20th, everyone can benefit from a show’s audition workshop! Learn how to choose the material that’s best for you, develop your cold reading skills, improve your vocal selections, survive a dance audition, and make your very best impression!

Participants are asked to prepare a one-minute vocal selection and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. If you need help finding a selection that works for you, no worries, we can help you accomplish that at the workshop! A movement combination will also be taught, and participants will have the opportunity to explore cold readings, as well.

Love and friendship are in the air this Feburary with our very special Charlie Brown Valentine's Day School's Out Workshop! Come celebrate Valentine's Day the Charlie Brown way - with lots of Snoopy kisses!

Join us during the 2025-2026 school year for School’s Out, Play-in-a-Day workshops.  These workshops provide a unique opportunity for children to undergo training in the performing arts and are a lifesaver for parents when the kids are out of school!

Children ages 8 to 12 are invited to participate in a full day of creative play, including theatre games, improvisation, dance, and an art project. They will also tackle a script that they will perform at the end of the day! Bring a sack lunch, a water bottle, and an awesome attitude!

SESSION IV: February 21st – April 4th, 2026. NOTE - Classes will NOT meet March 14th, 2026.

Always wanted to be an actor, but didn’t know where to start? Come “play” with us in Acting Basics. This class focuses on fun and creativity through theatre games and dramatic story-building. Group interaction and cooperation in playing a scene will be emphasized.

An exciting exploration of “play-acting” for the very young child. This class encourages your child to have confidence in his or her ideas and abilities, develop concentration skills, and learn to work with others. Combines acting, singing, and movement.

In addition to learning fundamental dance steps, students will have the opportunity to perform repertory from popular children’s musicals. What a wonderful way to prepare for that next dance audition!
