An exciting exploration of “play-acting” for the very young child. This class encourages your child to have confidence in his or her ideas and abilities, develop concentration skills, and learn to work with others. Combines acting, singing, and movement.

SESSION III: January 8 – February 5, 2025

Learn Stage Makeup basics and theory by applying techniques to change, shape, and even age your face. The class will embrace creativity while learning new skills such as developing character makeup plots and applying wounds or scars. Students will learn to transform themselves into multiple different character types through stage makeup!

The price of the class includes a Ben Nye Makeup kit that will be provoded to each student on the first day of class.

Learn how to create original theatre performances in a variety of collaborative ways. Devising performances collaboratively is an alternative to the traditional playwright to director path for plays. When you join this class you will learn the building blocks of devising as well as how to give and receive feedback to improve creative ideas. In addition, we will learn how to submit a proof of concept or workshopped piece for festivals.
